I have found these amazing boots by Damen Stiefel and yet I have not been able to find a place in the North America’s to buy them! I have never had such a dilemma.
These boots are called Airstep’s and even though I will fully admit that this look has very little to do with being preppy except for this one, because it can be carefully worn with a pair of sear-sucker shorts, polo shirt and a cotton sweater wrapped effortlessly around your shoulders with a fair amount of attitude.
But I certainly don’t cater to personal style being confined to a box and when I am at work, either in the often glamour-less world of fashion or on a film set, I like to wear jeans, and there is nothing better with jeans than the sexiest pair of F..Me (excuse my french) boots money can buy.
Some Dandi’s are obsessed with shoes. I am obsessed with boots (see ‘Tis the Season).
And as Liz Lemon says, “I would like to go to there!” Especially with the boots above. But as I mentioned before I can only find them online in the hinterlands of Germany. So if any of you know where they sell these luscious boots in the US, particularly in the Austin area, do let a Dandi know!
